Programme overview

Hibiscus is a speciality programme where cleanliness, colour, and sorting discipline define commercial value. We source primarily from Nigerian and Sudanese production zones, with qualified secondary supply from Burkina Faso and Senegal.

Buyers include beverage manufacturers, tea blenders, natural-colour extractors, and pharmaceutical ingredient formulators. Lots are hand-sorted at origin before export and screened for organic compliance where required.

Same rhythm as every other crop — only the calendar and the grading language change.

Operating notes

  • Hand-sorting is done at origin under supervised batch lots.
  • Organic lots are segregated from commercial at every touchpoint.
  • Low-density cargo — freight cost is always modelled into the landed price.
