Programme overview

Cashew is a dual programme. We trade raw cashew nuts (RCN) out of the West African main origins for processors in Vietnam and India, and we source processed kernels from qualified West African factories for snack, ingredient, and private-label buyers in Europe and North America.

Every lot is KOR-tested and outturn-validated. We insist on pre-shipment fumigation and independent surveyor supervision on load.

Same rhythm as every other crop — only the calendar and the grading language change.

Operating notes

  • RCN lots are contracted against specific KOR bands — no blind tonnage.
  • Kernels come only from factories with documented food-safety credentials.
  • We structure trade finance around outturn thresholds, not flat tonnage.

Origins

Where the cashew comes from.
Named lanes, not abstract map pins.

Each origin is an active sourcing lane with named suppliers, grading discipline, and documented export readiness.

Côte d’Ivoire

Korhogo and Bouaké zones

Largest African RCN origin; strong KOR and outturn.

Ghana

Brong-Ahafo and Bono regions

Complementary RCN volume; established export corridors.

Benin

Borgou and Donga

Consistent mid-sized RCN supply.

Guinea-Bissau

Bafatá and Gabú

Strong outturn; seasonal concentration.

Harvest window

  • RCN harvest: February to June
  • Processed kernel supply: year-round from qualified factories

Price drivers

  • Outturn (KOR) and defect rate
  • Vietnamese and Indian processing demand

  • Destination private-label programme cycles

The map is a handshake, not a pin.
